Ingredients

  • 2 whole ripe avocados
  • 4 slices sourdough bread (thick-cut)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp everything bagel seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Toast sourdough slices until golden and crisp. You want structure — the bread needs to hold up.

    4 slices sourdough bread
  2. 2

Halve avocados, remove pit. Scoop flesh into a bowl. Add lime juice and a pinch of salt. Mash with a fork to your preferred texture — chunky is better than smooth.

2 whole ripe avocados1 tbsp lime juice

Ripe = gives slightly when pressed. Hard avocados won't mash well.

  3. 3

Divide avocado evenly over the 4 toast slices. Spread to edges.

  4. 4

Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning, red pepper flakes, and flaky salt over each slice. Drizzle with olive oil.
