- 12 medium jalapeño peppers
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 12 slices bacon (thin-cut)
- 1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and set a wire rack on top. Halve jalapeños lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.

Mix cream cheese, cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Fill each jalapeño half with the mixture.

Wrap each stuffed half with a half slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick if needed. Place on the wire rack.

Bake 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy and jalapeños are tender. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
The wire rack lets hot air circulate so bacon gets crispy all around.
